Limited edition Ford F150 Boss edition There were only 500 of these made! This is number 218 5.4L V8 The Boss 5.4 was produced in by L.A. West, an Indiana based conversion company. The truck has a numbered interior plate ( see picture) The truck has a body kit and 20" wheels The color was not a part of Ford's color palette in 2002 when the truck was made. The Boss 5.4 kit was installed on trucks with Ford's 5.4L SOHC V8. This engine is a two-valve per cylinder power plant that produces 260 horsepower at 4500 rpm and 350 pound-feet of torque. This truck has a re-built title. I have had the truck for about a year and a half after purchasing it from a family member. I am not sure of the complete history of the truck, but it runs great and is really fun to drive. I have had no engine issues at all, and I recently replaced the rear brakes and several of the ball joints. The alignment was also done in the last two months. The A/C and heat work great. Also, I recently had the drivers seat reupholstered and had the back bumper cover and side panels re-done after someone rear-ended me (there was only cosmetic damage) The two running boards by the doors have some damage as well. I would love to keep the truck, (I love it) but I am really needing a more practical vehicle for my life style.
